Hannah Goff is a North Carolina based artist, originally from a fashion design and textile background she now creates sewn fabric paintings and ceramic art objects for the home. Her experience working in the apparel industry and her avid collection of vintage and second hand textiles has greatly influenced her work.

The textiles act as carriers of past lives, histories and emotions. Incorporating them into the work feels like a natural expression of the human experience.

She draws inspiration from the intersecting histories of abstract painting, quilting and interior design. The relationship between art and everyday life is at the center of her work, informing the continually evolving exploration of materiality and atmosphere in the domestic space.
